FREE WALES ARMY ARRESTS 26 FEBRUARY 1969 - 2009: A Tribute 40 years on.

I was more Patriotic Front than Free Wales Army but I put up this post deliberately with recently made up fotos, it never was quite like this but it's my tribute to 'Old Comrades' who did not make it to 2009. FWA Commandants Cayo & Coslett wanted an FWA in first place based on the 1916 Irish Volunteers, others more as the 'Old IRA', myself was thinking more as the Israeli Haganha. Whatever, an Investiture of an English Prince of Wales caught up with us and before we could do very much Organising, Training and Arming nine of us were seized on the 26 February 1969 and imprisoned, following a long trial three of us were sentenced to further imprisonment. Many believe that the FWA was too ''Right Wing'' and should have gone left, as a Progressive & Popular National Liberation Front, at the time a solitary Anarcho - Syndicalist was attempting to sway FWA Volunteers towards something akin to James Connolly' Irish Citizen Army but it came to nothing. Contemporary 'Witchcraft' aka 'Wicca' finds it's beginnings at a number of sources, but it's roots are generally Anglo - Saxon although contemporary 'Witches' borrow much from the Celts. I thus do not quite grasp why contemporary 'Welsh Witches' are sold so much on a rather slavish following of the ''Wiccan Fashion?'', why not be more original and reclaim the Celtic Goddess Root and Road via a separatist Celtic Initiative in the potential offered by 'BRIGGA' and the path of the 'Exalted One'. That's as far as I have got, with the concept of a Celtic Pagan Revival. I will now leave it to contemporary 'Celtic Witches' to take it from there, please discuss in your 'Celtic Covens'.
